We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer 4 to join Procore’s Solutions Engineering team supporting our APAC region. In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to serve as a strategic technical partner to our Sales and Customer Experience teams, helping enterprise customers transform complex construction and field workflows through Procore’s construction technology platform. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, Customer Experience, Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and global Solutions Engineering teams to design solutions, lead evaluations, and drive successful customer outcomes.
As a Solutions Engineer 4, you will be primarily responsible for owning the technical sales motion for strategic APAC opportunities—from discovery and solution design through evaluation, close, deployment, and expansion. You’ll leverage your construction and AEC expertise to understand customer challenges, translate complex workflows into scalable technology solutions, and build repeatable technical assets and playbooks that enable our teams and partners to win and grow accounts.
This is a high-autonomy, high-visibility role where you’ll often be the primary Solutions Engineering presence in the region. You’ll be expected to operate effectively across time zones, prioritize strategically, proactively identify gaps, and build scalable processes that support the growth of our APAC business. You’ll also have the opportunity to guide customers through reality capture strategy, adoption, and expansion, particularly across high-accuracy workflows and solutions such as Unified Aerial and Ground, Automation, Inspection AI, and Survey.
This position reports to APAC Sales Leadership and works closely with Global Solutions Engineering Leadership. The role is based in the Sydney, Australia office, with up to 50% business travel across Australia, APAC, and internationally for customer meetings, site visits, industry events, and internal sessions.
What you’ll do:
At Procore, AI isn’t a specialized tool, it's a core competency. We expect every team member to be AI-literate, leveraging generative AI, internal copilots, and agentic workflows to move faster and work smarter. You’ll use AI to enhance customer research, solution preparation, asset creation, and repeatable presales workflows.

  • Own the technical sales motion for strategic APAC opportunities, from technical discovery and solution design through evaluation, close, and hand-off to Customer Experience
  • Partner closely with Account Executives on technical discovery, qualification, solution architecture, and expansion opportunities, establishing clear success criteria and timelines
  • Leverage your construction and AEC expertise to assess reality capture programs, identify customer pain points, and design evaluations tied to measurable operational and financial outcomes
  • Deliver tailored and compelling demonstrations and solution narratives for executive, technical, and field stakeholders, highlighting solutions such as Unified Aerial and Ground, Automation, Inspection AI, and Survey
  • Lead customer evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements, ensuring technical solutions align with customer requirements and business outcomes
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks early across areas such as solution accuracy, integrations, security, implementation, and organizational change management
  • Work with Sales and Customer Experience teams to identify and support expansion opportunities across sites, workflows, and products, translating opportunities into actionable technical plans
  • Develop and maintain APAC-specific technical assets, including demo environments, reference architectures, implementation checklists, evaluation frameworks, ROI narratives, and reusable presales content
  • Build repeatable playbooks and processes that enable Account Executives, Customer Experience teams, partners, and other Solutions Engineers to independently execute successful technical sales motions
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Enablement on regional webinars, industry events, customer case studies, and partner enablement initiatives to strengthen APAC pipeline and market awareness
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Stay current on construction technology, AEC industry trends, reality capture, robotics, AI, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for customer and business impact
  • Travel across Australia, APAC, and internationally for customer meetings, construction site visits, industry events, and internal sessions as required

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field, or comparable hands-on experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role, or equivalent experience in construction such as Construction Manager, Project Manager, Project Engineer, or VDC Manager
  • Proven experience within the construction/AEC industry, with exposure to technologies such as reality capture, project controls, BIM/VDC, construction technology, or adjacent SaaS solutions
  • Strong experience with enterprise SaaS solutions, including understanding of security, integrations, implementation, and change-management considerations
  • Proven experience leading technical discovery, solution design, evaluations, pilots, or proof-of-concept engagements that support business and revenue outcomes
  • Strong understanding of construction workflows, field operations, and the challenges associated with implementing technology across complex construction environments
  • Ability to translate complex technical and construction concepts into clear business value for executive, technical, and field stakeholders
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at executive and operational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a high-autonomy environment, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively across geographically distributed teams and time zones
  • Ability to build scalable technical processes, playbooks, and enablement assets that can be leveraged across teams and regions
  • Ability to obtain a relevant drone certification, such as an Australian RePL or equivalent APAC license, within 90 days of joining and maintain the certification throughout tenure
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and across APAC and internationally for customer engagements, construction site visits, industry events, and internal meetings

Strong-fit background might include:
