The role

Reporting to the Category Lead, you will coordinate and deliver end-to-end sourcing activities across a range of procurement initiatives, supporting effective market engagement, supplier selection and contract award processes. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to provide specialist procurement advice, coordinate sourcing activities and ensure procurement outcomes align with organisational objectives, governance requirements and legislative obligations.

You will also support the implementation of category strategies and demand aggregation initiatives, maintain accurate procurement documentation and records, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of procurement systems, processes and capability. Success in this role will come from your ability to build strong stakeholder relationships, manage competing priorities and deliver compliant, defensible and value-for-money procurement outcomes.

 

What you’ll bring 

  • Experience delivering quotation, tender and market engagement processes. 

  • Sound knowledge of procurement governance, probity principles and value-for-money procurement practices. 

  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. 

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet agreed timeframes. 

  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
