Help people create their tomorrow, while you create yours

We help people with their banking, super, retirement and finances. Through upturns, downturns, recessions, and major life transitions. Every day, we help people see and make more of their financial potential, so that they can create their tomorrow. And we’ve been doing it for over 170 years.

If we do our job well, we genuinely add to the prosperity of our country and its people.

As part of AMP's People Operations team within People Services, this role is the first point of contact for employees and leaders seeking support on People-related matters. • Provide practical advice to employees and leaders on People matters, including performance and conduct management, and prepare associated documentation such as contracts, letters and Performance Improvement Plans.
  • Support workforce transition activities, including drafting communications, organisation charts, redundancy documentation and other employee-related collateral.
  • Manage and resolve Human Capital Management (Oracle) transactions and queries, including position management, organisational structures, cost centre allocations and supporting documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll queries, collaborating with specialist teams and escalating complex matters where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and business projects that enhance People Operations processes, systems and service delivery.

What you will bring to the role

  • Ideally at least 2-3 years’ experience in a People-focussed role, with experience dealing with Human Resources matters such as performance and conduct management.
  • Basic understanding of the Australian employment framework.
  • Experience dealing directly with employees with a focus on providing positive service.
  • Administrative experience with Human Capital Management programmes.
  • Relevant degree qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or equivalent experience.

Your interest and experience in Employee Relations and experience working with Oracle although not essential would be well regarded
