The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing Brisbane team. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs, rectifications, installations, inspections, testing, and emergency callouts across a range of fire sprinkler and mechanical fire protection systems.

As a key member of our field services team, you will represent FSQ on client sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with relevant fire industry standards, legislation, and compliance requirements. You will play an important role in helping clients maintain compliant and fully operational fire protection systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and government facilities.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing maintenance, repairs, rectifications, installations and emergency callouts on fire sprinkler systems and associated mechanical fire infrastructure
- Inspecting, testing and troubleshooting fire protection systems to ensure ongoing compliance and reliability
- Identifying, reporting and assisting with the rectification of defects and non-compliances
- Completing service reports, compliance documentation and electronic job records accurately and on time
- Preparing and transporting tools, equipment and materials required for maintenance and project works
- Working closely with the Service Coordinator and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery
- Providing exceptional customer service while representing FSQ professionally on site
- Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and compliance across all client locations
- Applying technical expertise and fault-finding skills to diagnose and resolve system issues effectively
Your Skills, Experience & Attributes
- Relevant trade qualifications and licences relating to sprinkler fitting, fire protection or mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of fire protection systems, relevant legislation, Australian Standards and industry codes of practice
- Current White Card
- Current unrestricted driver's licence
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capability
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Experience using electronic job management systems or mobile service platforms highly regarded
- Ability to obtain and maintain a clean police check, pre-employment medical and Blue Card
- Additional fire industry certifications or First Aid qualifications highly regarded
- Positive attitude, reliability and commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Full working rights in Australia (essential)
