1. Monthly Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare monthly reinsurance accounting entries and support period‑end close activities.
- Compile treaty‑level data from administration systems, ledgers, and other internal sources for settlements and reporting.
- Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for management.
2. Reconciliations (BS, Cash, IC)
- Perform Balance Sheet (BS) reconciliations including treaty receivables, payables, reserves, and suspense accounts.
- Conduct cash reconciliation activities such as verifying wire transfers, cash logs, and settlement confirmations (referenced in ALICO Group processes under cash log maintenance).
- Complete Intercompany (IC) reconciliations, resolve mismatches, and ensure compliance with global IC policies
3. Reinsurance Administration Support
- Assist in preparing periodic treaty settlements by consolidating data from GL, admin systems, and data marts.
- Support treaty administration activities for ALICO Group International, including accruals, settlements, and reinsurer inquiries.
- Participate in new treaty onboarding, system implementation, and UAT where applicable.
4. Audit, Controls & Compliance
- Support internal and external audits (SOX, D&T) by preparing required schedules and reconciliations.
