Your Impact and Contribution
You're a highly skilled Staff Platform Engineer with expertise in VMware, Networking, DevOps and automation tools, ready to take on complex infrastructure challenges. In this team, you'll positively contribute by delivering innovative cloud, virtualisation, and networking solutions. You will drive infrastructure design and automation across multiple environments, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.

- Are a senior engineer, operating in the virtual hosting arena, specialising in the networking aspects of on-prem virtualisation.
- Have a deep understanding of Software Defined Networks using VMware NSX.
- Are Skilled in the design build and support of physical networks for virtualisation platforms using Cisco/Dell switching and routing (you love BGP).
- Can develop network automation using tools like Ansible and Terraform, and can code competently in Python, Go or PowerShell.
- Understand load balancers, proxies and other network appliances, such as F5, AVI, and HAProxy.
- Have some experience with Kubernetes networking, using CNIs like Calico and/or Cilium, enabling secure and scalable container orchestration.
- Have some familiarity with modern monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana).
- Have exposure to DevOps pipelines, the SDLC process and continuous delivery.
- Are an effective collaborator with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership.
- Mentor and promote best practice engineering guidance to junior engineers.
