We’re looking for a curious and solutions-focused Stockbroking Business Operations Executive to join our Stockbroking Business Operations team. You’ll use your analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate trading issues, support our platforms and help keep our stockbroking operations running smoothly. What you’ll be working on

You’ll be a key escalation point for platform and stockbroking issues, providing second and third-line support to teams across Client Services, Premium Client Services and our Institutional business. You’ll investigate trade and order discrepancies, support incident and outage management, monitor trade risk and help resolve complex platform issues. Working across domestic and international share trading, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to keep our platforms operating effectively and deliver the best possible outcomes for our clients.

What will help you be successful?

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re naturally curious, analytical and enjoy solving problems. You’ll be comfortable investigating issues that don’t always have an obvious answer, working through data to understand what has happened and communicating solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll take ownership when issues arise, remain calm when priorities shift and understand the importance of accuracy in a regulated trading environment.

You’ll also bring:

  • At least two years’ experience in operations or application support, ideally within stockbroking or broader financial services

  • Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong numerical capability and attention to detail

  • Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables

  • Experience with IRESS, GBST, Salesforce or JIRA will be highly regarded
