About the role

We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our team at Coppabella Village. This role is responsible for receiving, recording, storing and distributing perishable and non-perishable goods, ensuring stock levels are maintained and village departments receive supplies in a timely and efficient manner.

Working closely with the Village Manager and operational teams, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting village operations and ensuring all stock management activities are conducted safely and in line with company standards. 

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and record deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation 
• Store goods correctly and maintain quality, food safety and inventory standards 
• Rotate stock using FIFO principles to minimise waste and expired stock 
• Prepare and distribute stock and supplies to kitchen, housekeeping, retail and other operational departments 
• Process invoices and maintain accurate inventory records using company systems 
• Conduct stocktakes and support inventory audits 
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of replenishment requirements 
• Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete or damaged stock 
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely 
• Maintain clean, organised and safe storage and work areas 
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and quality standards 
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and follow standard operating procedures 

About you

• Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver's Licence
• Current LF Forklift Licence 
• Current Australian Driver's Licence 
• Australian working rights
• Previous experience in a storeperson, warehouse or inventory control role
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks and related equipment 
• Strong numerical and inventory management skills 
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and customer service skills 
• Safety-focused with a commitment to maintaining compliance standards 
• Experience in hospitality, remote accommodation or mining village environments will be highly regarded
