We are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson with LF Forklift License to join our Defence logistics and warehousing team. This role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, inventory control, freight handling, and the safe movement of Defence-related equipment and materials.

Based at Moorebank Military Area in Moorebank NSW  the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment where accuracy, accountability, reliability and teamwork are essential.

Duties will include use of WMS, MHE, inventory management, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distribution of Defence equipment, supplies, and materials. Working under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Store Person Grade 2 ensures that all tasks are performed in compliance with Toll Government & Defence contractual requirements, Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

How you’ll make the right impact 

As a Storeperson, you’ll be the backbone of our site operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant warehouse processes. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with Team Leaders, you will: 

  • Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch Defence equipment and supplies. 

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. 

  • Use warehouse systems to manage stock accurately and action reports. 

  • Maintain safety standards, site cleanliness, and compliance with Defence regulations. 

  • Collaborate with your team to achieve operational targets and deliver results that matter. 

What you’ll bring 

We’re looking for motivated individuals who bring: 

  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, or related industries (desirable but not essential). 

  • A current forklift license (or willingness to obtain one). 

  • A valid driver’s license (C class). 

  • Must hold current NV 1 Security Clearance

  • Working outdoors to deliver stores and equipment to defence personnel in the field

  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks. 

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail. 

  • A safety-first mindset. 

  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

Eligibility to make the grade

  • You Must be an Australian Citizen. 

  • Be eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Defence Security Clearance (Baseline level or higher depending on role). 

  • Be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including criminal history, medical, and other background assessments.
