About the Role

We're looking for a driven sales professional to join our Energy portfolio, working across industry-leading events including the Asia Pacific Hydrogen Summit and All Energy Australia. These events bring together innovators, suppliers, technology providers and decision-makers shaping the future of energy across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of new business development, phone-based sales and account management. You'll be responsible for selling exhibition space, sponsorship packages and event participation opportunities to businesses looking to showcase their products, services and brands to a highly engaged industry audience.

You'll spend a significant part of your time making outbound sales calls, prospecting for new exhibitors and building relationships with companies that should be part of our events. You'll also manage existing exhibitor accounts, helping clients maximise their presence and rebook for future events.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Sell exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities across our energy and industrial events portfolio.

  • Make outbound sales calls to generate new business opportunities and secure new exhibitors.

  • Prospect and research new companies that could benefit from exhibiting at our events.

  • Manage existing exhibitor relationships and drive repeat business.

  • Conduct virtual and face-to-face meetings with customers across Australia and the broader APAC region.

  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline while achieving revenue targets.

  • Attend exhibitions and industry events to strengthen customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in phone-based sales, business development or B2B sales.

  • Experience selling exhibition space, sponsorships, conferences or B2B events .

  • Confidence making outbound calls and building relationships with new customers.

  • A proactive, resilient approach and genuine enjoyment of hunting for new business.

  • Exposure to the energy, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure or mining sectors would be advantageous.

  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to balance account management with new business development.
