Based in our Barangaroo office in Sydney on Gadigal land, you’ll lead executive account strategies across five of our most important Banking, Finance and Insurance clients in Australia. 

Your mission? Drive long-term growth - build stronger C-suite relationships, drive sustained growth, and make Thales the trusted cybersecurity partner across SaaS, data security, application security, identity, cloud, and post-quantum initiatives. 

This is a senior enterprise sales leadership role where you’ll bring big-picture strategy to life -through direct executive engagement, sharp planning, and complex deal orchestration.

The Role

  • Build multi-year, C-suite-led account plans and win large-scale transformation initiatives aligned to customer business priorities and digital transformation.

  • Exceeded annual bookings, revenue, and pipeline targets by executing account growth strategies and driving cross-sell/upsell across SaaS, data security, application security, HSM, PKI, DSPM, secrets management, and post-quantum cryptography.

  • Built trusted advisor and executive sponsor relationships within customer organisations.

  • Led complex sales cycles end-to-end, using MEDDPICC, cross-functional teams, and partners to drive growth.

On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:

  • Must have track record in advancing enterprise cybersecurity and software sales across diverse markets 

  • Strong success managing strategic accounts in regulated and mission-critical industries 

  • Experience delivering complex, high-value solution sales 

  • Confident engaging senior executives and board-level stakeholders 

  • Broad knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud, data protection, and digital trust technologies

A NV 1 Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
