About the Role

We’re looking for a Strategic Product Consultant (SPC) to support the specialisation of our Project Execution product category. In this role, you’ll leverage your consultative mindset, knowledge of the construction industry, and Procore’s software platform to provide our customers with best practices for adopting and utilising the Procore platform. You’ll partner with Project Managers, Onboarding Managers, and Customer Success Engineers to supplement customer training with industry technical knowledge of cloud-based software and Procore platform expertise. In addition, you will also collaborate with industry stakeholders to identify issues and industry needs while working with the Product and Marketing departments to innovate upon our software offering, improve customer utilisation, and communicate enhancements to the industry. Successful candidates are curious and passionate technology enthusiasts and promoters of modernising the construction industry through technological advancement.

This position reports to the Head of Professional Services, APAC and is based in our Sydney office or works remotely from an Australian location. This is not an independent contractor position. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Consultation: Work with Project Managers and Onboarding Managers to develop customers into Procore experts and evangelists through training and consultation.

  • Training Delivery: Conduct group training webinars and in-person sessions to educate customers on Procore tools.

  • Workflow Optimisation: Leverage knowledge of the construction industry to improve customer business processes in Procore and across the customer’s entire organisation.

  • Solution Architecture: Leverage knowledge of the Procore platform to consult and create solutions that meet customer requirements.

  • Service Excellence: Provide the highest level of service and education to Procore’s customers through clear and effective communication.

  • Team Mentorship: Foster a positive team culture by onboarding, training, and mentoring team members.

  • Internal Alignment: Collaborate with all levels of the Procore organisation to develop best practices and drive Procore’s evolution as a market leader.

  • Product Innovation: Leverage industry knowledge and collaborate with industry stakeholders to identify local needs within the Procore Platform while working with Product and Marketing to innovate upon our offering, communicate enhancements, and improve customer utilisation.

  • Continuous Learning: Develop a mastery of Procore’s product offerings, business model, services, emerging technologies, and Customer Success best practices.

  • Travel: Up to 30% travel to customer sites (may include domestic and international), industry events, and other Procore offices.

What We’re Looking For
  • Industry Passion: Construction industry professionals with a curious mindset who are passionate about driving industry change through technology.

  • Experience: Construction industry professionals with 5+ years of direct industry experience looking to transition into a fast-paced software training and advisory role. 

  • Relevant Roles: Previous experience as a Site Coordinator, Contracts Administrator, Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar with direct industry experience.

  • Core Site Workflows: Direct experience managing day-to-day site operations, including RFIs, Documents, Site Diaries, ITPs, and Defect Lists.

  • Quality & Safety Focus: Experience implementing or managing site quality assurance, safety programmes, site inspections, and incident reporting workflows.

  • Site Collaboration: Familiarity with managing site coordination meetings, drawing/specification revisions, and design collaboration between architects, builders, and subcontractors.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.

  • SOP Development: Experience establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) preferred.

  • Training Enablement: Previous background in corporate training, peer mentoring, or software support is preferred.

  • Procore Domain Knowledge: Previous experience using Procore on live construction projects is highly preferred.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range:

139,536.00 - 191,862.00 AUD Annual

On Target Earning Range:

164,160.00 - 225,720.00 AUD Annual

This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
