About the role and team

As a Strategy & Operations Lead - Supply Growth, you will be the most senior member of the Supply Growth team, owning the strategies, budget and partnerships that bring Delivery People onto Uber's platform – a top priority across the business.

What you’ll do

  • Set the supply growth strategy for ANZ: Define and lead the overarching plan to grow Uber's delivery partner base across Australia and New Zealand, translating company growth targets into a clear acquisition and retention roadmap with measurable milestones.
  • Lead and mentor: Act as a senior leader within the Delivery People team and the Supply Pod; coaching team members, operating with high autonomy, and proactively stepping into complex, undefined spaces.
  • Own performance and budget: Take full P&L style accountability for Driver First Trip targets and the supply growth budget while driving channel efficiency and strategic spend allocation.
  • Build and scale strategic partnerships: Identify, negotiate, and scale high-impact partnerships to unlock new supply pools and strengthen the Uber Pro loyalty proposition.
  • Drive top-of-funnel strategy and campaigns: Set the strategic direction for top-of-funnel campaigns to effectively attract prospective delivery partners.
  • Influence senior cross functional stakeholders: Represent Supply Growth across leadership forums, collaborating closely with Marketing, Finance, Product, Central teams and external partners 
  • Be creative: Supply Growth has no single playbook. You’ll need to challenge assumptions, test unconventional approaches and build structured strategies from ambitious, fast moving data. 
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+  years of experience in strategy, consulting, program management, commercial, operations or similar fast-paced tech environments. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with end-to-end execution. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams. 
  • Resilience and adaptability with the ability to thrive in dynamic, unstructured environments and a "get-it-done" attitude, where how you go about your work is everything.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and the capability to use data to drive business decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in strategy or operations roles focused on growing the supply side of a supply and demand flywheel. 
  • Experience in 0-to-1 environments, such as launching new products, services, or geographic markets.
  •  High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate organisational dynamics and build consensus. 
  • Analytical proficiency, including a working knowledge of SQL and data visualisation tools such as Tableau.
