The Opportunity
We are seeking talented early career professionals to join the Boeing Defence Australia MQ28 Supply Chain Management team as a Graduate Subcontracts Specialist in Brisbane, providing a solid career foundation from day one.
The MQ-28 Ghost Bat Program is developing and producing the world-leading MQ-28 Ghost Bat uncrewed Collaborative Combat Aircraft. Within the MQ-28 Program, the Supply Chain Management provides the Program with all aspects of supplier commercial management support, including creating and awarding contracts, managing our supplier pipeline and warehousing support, and managing the supply chains that underpin the successful execution of the program.
As a Graduate Subcontracts Specialist you will work as part of the MQ28 Subcontracts Team, under the supervision of the manager and other personnel, and will be supporting activities such as:
  • Integrating program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. This includes the preparation, negotiation, and execution of commercially sound subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal Boeing processes and policies
  • Monitor and track subcontractor performance, ensuring they meet contractual obligations and milestones and maintain accurate records of subcontracts, correspondence, and reports
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to safety regulations and project requirements and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Support the invoicing and payment processes related to subcontracts, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Communicate effectively with industry and subcontractors, internal stakeholders, and senior team members, fostering positive relationships and collaboration through clear communication and transparency

Education
Tertiary degree qualification in Business, Commerce or Law (or anticipated graduation before January 2027)
