As an Intern at nbn, it’s not just about observingyou’ll be actively working on real projects that make a genuine impact. Over 12 exciting weeks, you’ll be embedded in a business stream of your choice, contributing to meaningful work that helps connect communities across Australia. 

 

You’ll be part of a collaborative team, solving problems, learning new skills, and gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Every intern is supported by a dedicated leader, a mentor, and a buddy — people who are here to guide you, answer your questions, and help you grow both personally and professionally. 

 

Whether you're passionate about technology, strategy, operations, or customer experience, this is your opportunity to kick-start your career and make a difference. 

 

To be eligible for the program, you must meet the below eligibility criteria: 

  • You are a Citizen of Australia / New Zealand, or an Australian permanent resident; and  

  • You are in your second last year of university; and 

  • You are available to commence full time work from 3 November 2025 through to 6 February 2026.    

 

Available Career Pathways 

Choose your path! When applying, select one of the following streams that best aligns with your interests and studies:  

  • Customer and Network Services (Melbourne or Sydney) 

  • Field Services (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide or Hobart) 

  • Security Group (Melbourne)

  • Systems Engineering and Operations (Melbourne or Sydney) 

  • Technology and Solutions (Melbourne)
