Job Description

Join the team at Strathfield Private Hospital as a Supply Officer and play an important role in keeping our hospital running smoothly. Working as part of our Stores & Supply Team, you’ll help ensure medical and non-medical supplies are received, stored and distributed efficiently to the departments that need them. It’s a hands-on role where organisation, accuracy and great service are key.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Receiving, picking and distributing stock across the hospital.
  • Loading and delivering supplies to hospital departments.
  • Issuing materials and preparing goods for internal teams.
  • Maintaining clean, safe and organised stock storage areas.
  • Using SAP to manage and distribute stock.
  • Supporting stocktakes and maintaining accurate inventory.
  • Following operational procedures and ensuring documentation is completed correctly.

Skills and Experience

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and service-focused, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage competing priorities.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in a busy stores, supply or service environment.
  • Experience accurately picking and managing stock.
  • An understanding of minimum/maximum stock control principles.
  • Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to identify and proactively address potential issues.
  • Experience operating stores equipment, including motorised pallet trucks.
  • A friendly and helpful approach to supporting internal and external customers.
  • The ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute positively to a team.
  • A strong commitment to safety, procedures and a respectful workplace.
