As our Sustainability Manager, you’ll play an important role in bringing our sustainability ambitions to life across developments, infrastructure and growth markets. You’ll work closely with project and technical teams to make sure sustainability is practical, achievable and adds real value—while helping lift performance across our wider portfolio.

The Opportunity

You’ll support the delivery of the Dexus Sustainability Strategy, focusing on how sustainability is embedded in our design, development and asset planning, and how we measure and improve performance over time.

Key Focus Areas

Developments

  • Deliver Green Star and NABERS outcomes across projects
  • Support climate transition work, including embodied carbon
  • Improve sustainability standards (SDS, DEM)
  • Work with project and procurement teams to meet sustainability goals

Growth Markets / Infrastructure

  • Support sustainability plans for infrastructure assets
  • Help prepare disclosures and investor reporting
  • Strengthen data and systems for tracking performance
  • Contribute to the $2B renewable energy investment target

Green Star Performance Program

  • Lead the annual GSP strategy and submissions
  • Identify improvement opportunities across the portfolio
  • Align GSP data with GRESB, S\&P CSA and other reporting
  • Manage budgets, partners and delivery for the program
Your Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the governance and delivery of the Sustainability Strategy
  • Support cross‑functional working groups and key initiatives
  • Develop and deliver sustainability programs and projects
  • Evaluate performance using measurement and verification methods
  • Prepare case studies, communications and presentations
  • Research emerging trends and support business cases for new ideas
What You’ll Bring

You’re someone who collaborates naturally, communicates clearly and can make sustainability feel practical for different teams. You build strong relationships, listen well and bring curiosity, initiative and a grounded approach to problem‑solving. You enjoy working with data, spotting opportunities and helping teams deliver meaningful results.

Technical Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience applying Green Star, NABERS and sustainability principles in developments
  • Understanding of climate transition and embodied carbon considerations
  • Ability to interpret data to identify trends and support decisions
  • Experience contributing to disclosures, DDQs or investor reporting
  • Familiarity with portfolio tools such as Green Star Performance
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, Planning, Environmental Sustainability or similar
  • Green Star AP – Performance (advantageous)
  • NABERS Energy & Water Assessor accreditation
