About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Our SMB Account Executives don't just sell analytics — they sell the future of how businesses run on data and AI. You'll engage existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Tableau platform, positioning it as the analytics backbone of the Agentic Enterprise, where trusted data fuels autonomous, intelligent decision-making at scale.
You'll build genuine, trusted relationships with both day-to-day users and decision-makers across your patch, becoming the go-to expert on how Tableau turns data into a competitive edge — and how it connects into the broader Salesforce and Agentforce ecosystem to power smarter, faster action.
Using your new-business development skills, you'll develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting, helping customers see what's possible when great data meets great agents.

  • Close opportunities at assigned existing accounts and drive sales at new accounts
  • Drive sales within assigned segment (lower Commercial segments)
  • Acquire new logos within assigned territory
  • Position Tableau's value within the wider agentic data ecosystem, speaking to how trusted, well-governed data underpins AI-driven outcomes
  • Speak to business offerings as they relate to the customer's needs and engage other resources as required
  • Manage a high volume of accounts and sales with energy and precision

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of technical sales experience
  • We have an open mind in SMB — we're not just looking for SaaS veterans. If you've owned an end-to-end, quota-carrying sales process in any technology sales role, we want to talk to you
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles in technology sales
  • No prior Salesforce experience required (though it's a plus) — what matters more is genuine curiosity about data, AI, and where the industry is heading
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience; we evaluate experience holistically (leadership roles, military service, volunteering, work history, etc.)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling in the software industry or technical/SaaS sales
  • Familiarity with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence
  • Curiosity about AI and agentic technology and how it's reshaping enterprise decision-making
