About us

You will:

  • Build relationships with veterinary professionals locally and internationally
  • Develop targeted sourcing and attraction strategies for a competitive candidate market
  • Partner with hospital leaders to understand their workforce needs and recruitment priorities
  • Bring the clinical, career and lifestyle benefits of each opportunity to life
  • Proactively source candidates through professional networks, referrals, social media and direct outreach
  • Provide practical recruitment advice and market insights to stakeholders
  • Deliver a responsive, personal and supportive candidate experience
  • Collaborate with the wider Talent Acquisition team on campaigns, projects and shared priorities
  • Support international candidates through recruitment, professional registration, relocation and migration processes, in partnership with our internal and external specialists

About you

We are open to people with different professional backgrounds. You may bring experience from:

  • A veterinary clinical role, including general practice, emergency, specialty or veterinary nursing
  • Veterinary recruitment or Talent Acquisition
  • Human healthcare recruitment, including medical, nursing or allied health portfolios

Regardless of your background, you will bring:

  • A positive, proactive and team-focused approach
  • Genuine curiosity about our hospitals, people and locations
  • Strong candidate and stakeholder relationship skills
  • The confidence to recruit in a competitive, candidate-short market
  • Excellent communication, organisation and follow-through
  • A commitment to creating a personal and responsive candidate experience
  • A willingness to think outside the box
  • The ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail

Why join us?

  • Take ownership of an important, specialist recruitment portfolio
  • Work closely with experienced veterinary and clinical support recruiters
  • Build relationships with emergency veterinarians across Australia and internationally
  • Learn about the diverse hospitals, communities and career opportunities across our network
  • Enjoy a flexible, hybrid working arrangement
  • Access benefits for you and your family across the Greencross network
  • Help shape the future of emergency veterinary care in Australia
