Who are we looking for?

GHD has a new and exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Manager, Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) to lead Talent Acquisition (TA). This role is responsible for delivering high quality recruitment outcomes at scale while strengthening capability, consistency, and performance across a multiregional TA team.

As a strategic partner, you will work closely with senior business leaders to support growth priorities, solve complex challenges, and deliver strategic and business-critical recruitment while ensuring a strong, consistent hiring experience across ANZ. You will collaborate with other Talent Acquisition leaders in the Enterprise to align regional delivery with enterprise standards and priorities, and you’ll help shape talent strategies to support GHD’s long-term goals. In addition to leading Talent Acquisition for ANZ, you will also support strategic recruitment initiatives and/or lead a regional TA team within the country, collaborating across geographies to drive strategic outcomes.

Role Scope & Impact

  • Lead TA across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), supporting business growth across multiple regions

  • Lead and deliver strategic, senior, and business critical recruitment across ANZ 

  • Manage and develop a multi‑regional TA team, building capability, consistency, and delivery excellence 

  • Drive strong TA governance, service delivery, and hiring experience across ANZ and collaborate globally to achieve TA and enterprise goals

What you will do

Leading and working with an energetic and high performing team, you will:

Lead & Develop the ANZ TA Function

  • Lead, coach, and develop a multiregional TA team across Australia and New Zealand, building capability, confidence, and consistency at scale
  • Strengthen TA capability through role clarity, coaching, performance management, and continuous improvement

Drive Recruitment Delivery, Strategy & Governance

  • Lead and deliver strategic and senior recruitment, particularly for business critical and hard‑to‑fill roles
  • Balance hands on recruitment delivery with leadership of the TA team to ensure sustained hiring outcomes
  • Drive consistent TA processes, standards, and governance across regions to support quality, efficiency, and scalability

Partner with the Business

  • Advise senior leaders and partners across functions to deliver integrated, forward-looking talent solutions
  • Anticipate business needs and align recruitment delivery to workforce and growth priorities
  • Contribute to strategic planning by aligning TA priorities with organizational objectives

Enable, Measure & Improve

  • Enable hiring managers through training in interviewing, candidate assessment, inclusive hiring, and data-driven decision-making
  • Use data-driven insights to monitor performance, inform priorities, and continuously improve TA outcomes
  • Promote inclusive recruitment and support programs that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion across ANZ

What you’ll bring to the team

  • A strategic, delivery ‑focused mindset, comfortable operating at pace and scale
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to tailor communication for senior and diverse stakeholder groups
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, distributed teams in complex, fast‑moving environments
  • Proven capability to solve complexity with clarity and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience leading large or multi‑regional TA teams, ideally within professional services or similarly complex environments
  • Strong track record partnering with senior leaders and managing competing priorities at scale
  • Advanced TA systems experience (Oracle Cloud Recruiter is an advantage) and strong LinkedIn Recruiter capability
  • Demonstrated strategic sourcing and non‑traditional pipeline development experience
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement

Remuneration will be aligned to industry, market and location and determined based on skills and experience.
