The role offers meaningful ownership across end-to-end recruitment processes, a significant learning opportunity, and direct exposure to sophisticated hiring and high-quality talent pools across the APAC region.
The role will suit someone proactive and ambitious who wants to grow from recruitment coordination and corporate recruitment into a broader recruiting or talent advisory role over time. You will partner closely with hiring managers and the Head of Talent Acquisition, managing the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple APAC markets including Australia, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and China.
We are open to candidates based in either Shanghai or Sydney.
Responsible for:
Managing end-to-end recruitment cycle
Own end-to-end management of junior requisitions for finance, tax, technology, administration, and fundraising across Brookfield’s APAC business groups – including Corporate, Private Equity, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Credit – from role brief through to onboarding.
Work closely with hiring managers and business leads across all Brookfield business groups in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea and Australia to understand hiring needs and deliver against them with urgency and quality.
Source and pipeline candidates proactively through direct search, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals and agency partnerships.
Screen and assess candidates, and present shortlists with clear, well-reasoned recommendations to hiring managers.
Coordination and recruitment support
Set up and manage roles and organisational structures in Workday, including creating requisitions, updating job profiles and maintaining accurate position data throughout the hiring lifecycle.
Maintain real-time pipeline visibility across all active requisitions, providing regular status updates to stakeholders
Supporting the TA Director and coordinate all interview logistics across APAC – Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea and Australia – as well as with stakeholders in other time zones including London and North America where required, managing complex scheduling across multiple time zones, briefing panels and ensuring a professional, consistent candidate experience at every stage.
Manage candidate communication and experience throughout the full process, ensuring timely, professional and on-brand engagement at every touchpoint.
Initiate, manage and monitor background check processes for all successful candidates across APAC markets, tracking progress against start dates and escalating exceptions promptly.
Generate employment contracts and offer letters, ensuring accuracy across different employment types and jurisdictions, and managing the end-to-end offer process in close coordination with HR and legal.
Agency Management
Manage relationships with approved recruitment agencies across APAC, including maintaining and reviewing Terms & Conditions, coordinating briefings and monitoring performance and fee structures.
Ensure timely processing of agency invoices and maintain accurate agency documentation.
Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, managing expectations proactively and communicating with confidence.
Navigate complex, matrixed organisations and manage competing priorities across multiple markets and time zones.
Act as a positive ambassador for the Talent Acquisition function, contributing to a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Collateral, Regulatory and Reporting
Ensure all recruitment materials – including candidate briefing documents, interview guides and onboarding packs – are prepared, accurate and current for each active search.
Manage local regulatory requirements for job postings across APAC markets, including Singpass/MyCareersFuture in Singapore and equivalent platforms in other jurisdictions.
Handle all confidential candidate, compensation and internal hiring information with discretion and sound judgment.
Identify and implement process improvements, including leveraging AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance sourcing, job description quality and overall recruitment efficiency.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
3 to 5 years of experience in talent attraction or an associated HR discipline
