Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Talent & Organisational Development Specialist to join our People & Culture team.

Reporting to the Head of Talent & OD, you will play a key role in designing and delivering learning, leadership, talent and organisational development initiatives across Bapcor.

This is a highly hands-on role where you will take ideas from concept through to implementation. You’ll design learning solutions, facilitate programs, develop capability frameworks and support broader talent and OD initiatives. Working closely with P&C Business Partners and senior leaders, you’ll help build the capability our people and leaders need to succeed now and into the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deliver blended learning programs across digital, facilitator-led, social and on-the-job learning channels.
  • Design and facilitate leadership development programs for frontline, mid-level and senior leaders.
  • Develop and maintain behavioural, technical and leadership capability frameworks that support career pathways, development and performance.
  • Support organisation-wide talent and OD initiatives including performance, succession planning, talent management, engagement and culture.
  • Partner with P&C Business Partners and leaders to identify capability needs and develop practical solutions aligned with business priorities.
  • Manage the implementation of learning and OD programs, including stakeholder engagement, communications, governance, LMS administration and rollout.
  • Use people data, learner feedback and evaluation measures to assess effectiveness and continuously improve programs and initiatives.
  • Support organisational change and capability initiatives while bringing contemporary learning, leadership and OD practices into Bapcor.

Qualifications

You are an experienced Talent, L&D or OD professional who enjoys being close to the business and turning organisational needs into practical solutions.

You will bring:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Organisational Development or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years' experience across Learning & Development, Talent, Organisational Development or capability roles.
  • Strong project management capability with the ability to manage multiple programs and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing learning and OD programs from concept through to delivery.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles.
  • Experience designing and facilitating leadership and capability development programs.
  • Exposure to talent management, succession, performance, engagement or organisational development initiatives.
  • Strong facilitation, consulting and stakeholder influencing skills, including experience partnering with senior leaders.
