The team

Our APAC Talent Acquisition team represents Hitachi career opportunities to the talent market, and we are passionate about the role we play in influencing the future success of the organization. We aim to built a successful direct sourcing model; one that partners with the business to anticipate future resource needs, nurtures talent pipelines, and employs evermore creative ways to identify and attract the best talent into the organization.

The role

As a Talent Sourcer / Sourcing Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing and pipelining talent, with a particular emphasis on serving the talent requirements of the DEAI organization across APAC region. As a key member of this function, you will:

  • Support the APAC Head of Talent Acquisition in qualifying needs, helping to set expectations with the business by providing talent market insights, and ensuring an exemplary candidate experience
  • Proactively target and attract talent to build an engaged pipeline of candidates that are excited by the Hitachi proposition
  • Qualify candidates to accurately assess skills, experience, and cultural complement to the team and wider Hitachi business and core values
  • Present diverse and qualified candidate shortlists to enable hiring managers to make the best hiring decisions
  • Leverage social media channels to build brand awareness and drive talent engagement and interest

What you’ll bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in sourcing and attracting talent, across the region
  • English fluency
  • Flexibility in support across different business functions, sales, tech, and corporate functions
  • Highly developed search capabilities and able to leverage a variety of tools and methods to unearth hard-to-find talent
  • Exposure to global environments and confident engaging talent internationally
  • A proactive and highly structured approach to managing current and anticipated workload, with hiring manager and candidate experience at the forefront
  • A solid understanding of the talent-related challenges of a fast-paced, transforming organization with knowledge of recruiting talent across diverse disciplines
  • A collaborative approach to working, engaging proactively with the global TA team, HR Business Partners, and other internal stakeholders
