As our Tax Accountant, you'll play a key role in our Group Finance team, managing tax compliance across income tax, GST/VAT, and other areas. You'll support the GM Taxation with tax advice and regulatory engagements, contribute to tax strategies and process improvements, and help maintain our tax risk and governance framework.
This is a full-time, 6-month maximum-term role based in our Sydney CBD office.

Let’s talk about you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • CA or CPA qualified with a bachelor’s degree

  • 3+ years of income tax experience (Big 4 preferred)

  • Strong tax technical skills, including complex corporate exposure

  • Proficient in Excel

  • Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills

  • Solid accounting knowledge

Ability to:

  • Solve problems and think strategically

  • Work independently and in a team

  • Learn quickly and adapt to change

How will you support our “Why?”

  • Prepare income tax, GST/BAS, and FBT returns for Australian and overseas entities.

  • Manage R&D tax incentive claims and global withholding tax filings.

  • Research tax matters and monitor legislative changes.

  • Maintain the Tax Risk Register, Governance Framework, and transfer pricing framework.

  • Support tax audits, M&A due diligence, and dividend planning. 

  • Improve processes and create efficiencies.

  • Collaborate with external advisors, finance teams, and business units on tax matters.
