We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our team in a newly created role, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. In this key position, you will oversee our tax function and shape our strategic taxation approach. You’ll be essential in identifying, developing, and implementing systems and processes that enhance efficiency and reduce risk, while also leading significant tax-related initiatives.

How you will spend your time:
- Oversee tax and global transfer pricing and transparency compliance
- Oversee global tax effect accounting and reporting.
- Ensure appropriate controls and processes exist to facilitate the successful completion and timely lodgement of compliance within your accountability
- Work closely with SafetyCulture’s external tax service providers on tax related work streams
- Champion the implementation and use of technology and automation within the tax function that can scale and grow and reduce the amount of administrative work for the team
- Provide ad-hoc tax advice, to internal stakeholders around key strategic initiatives
About you:
- 5+ years tax focussed experience in a professional services and/or in-house context
- CA/CPA qualified or equivalent qualification
- Highly organised with the ability to work under reasonable pressure and within set deadlines
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self motivated with a desire to learn
- Experience working in the tech sector or an equally fast growing, ever-changing environment
- Proactivity when it comes to process improvement, technology adoption and automation
