About the Role

DP World is seeking a proactive Technical Learning Manager to join our People team based in Port Botany, NSW. Working within the Learning & Development team, you will partner with leaders across our Container Parks business to build workforce capability through practical frontline learning solutions.

 

In this role, you will develop and support the delivery of frontline technical training programs, translate corporate learning frameworks into site-based training and ensure learning is aligned with operational, safety and compliance requirements. You will also work closely with SMEs to develop and enhance learning content, analyse training data to support continuous improvement and assist with audit and reporting activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and coordination of frontline technical training across our Container Parks sites, including onboarding, workshops and system or process rollouts

  • Assess current trainer capability and uplift the trainer pool, including supporting a train-the-trainer approach

  • Partner with site leaders to identify training needs and support capability gap analysis 

  • Collaborate with SMEs and existing site trainers to develop and enhance learning content 

  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements 

  • Support audit preparation and reporting requirements 

  • Analyse training data and workforce insights to drive continuous improvement

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment 

  • Forklift licence (essential) and Reach Stacker licence (highly desirable) 

  • Proven experience in technical training, learning or capability development with frontline operational environments 

  • Experience delivering training and facilitating learning in hands-on, site-based settings 

  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements (licensing, safety, regulatory), including audit and reporting exposure 

  • Ability to assess, coach and uplift site-based trainers 

  • Data-driven with strong organisation, problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
