About the Role

DP World is seeking a proactive Technical Learning Manager to join our People team and support our logistics operations across Oceania. Working within the Learning & Development team, you will partner with site leaders across terminals, warehousing, transport and rail operations to build workforce capability through practical frontline learning solutions.

 

In this role, you will design and deliver frontline technical training programs, translate corporate frameworks into site-based learning and ensure training is aligned with operational and compliance requirements. You will also work with SMEs to develop and improve learning content, analyse training data to inform decisions and support audits and reporting activities.

 

This is a unique opportunity to work across our network, with flexibility for the role to be based in Port Botany (NSW) or West Melbourne (VIC).

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and coordinate frontline technical training across operational sites, including onboarding, workshops and system/process rollouts 

  • Assess current trainer capability and uplift the trainer pool, including supporting a train-the-trainer approach 

  • Partner with site leaders to identify training needs and support capability gap analysis 

  • Collaborate with SMEs and existing site trainers to develop and enhance learning content 

  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements 

  • Support audit preparation and reporting requirements 

  • Analyse training data and workforce insights to drive continuous improvement

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment 

  • Forklift licence (essential) and Reach Stacker licence (highly desirable) 

  • Proven experience in technical training, learning or capability development with frontline operational environments 

  • Experience delivering training and facilitating learning in hands-on, site-based settings 

  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements (licensing, safety, regulatory), including audit and reporting exposure 

  • Ability to assess, coach and uplift site-based trainers 

  • Data-driven with strong organisation, problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
