Job Description
As the Technology & Cyber Risk Manager, you will deliver timely Risk Management and Compliance analysis to support Technology in achieving business goals while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. You will interact with all levels within Technology, the Risk Office, and both internal and external audit teams. Your role includes leading the execution of the Line 1 Controls Assurance plan, managing the quality of Technology data in the risk management system, and supporting the development of a sound Risk Management and Compliance culture within the organization.
In this role, you will-
- Deliver timely Risk Management and Compliance analysis and advice to specific areas of the organization, ensuring commercial success and full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments on the design and operational effectiveness of Technology’s key processes, and produce timely control assurance reporting.
- Assist the business in identifying and formulating corrective strategies and implementation plans for key corrective actions and preventative controls.
- Manage the monthly Technology Risk Committee, leading discussions on deep dive sessions and insights on risk matters such as incident root-causes.
- Support Technology team members in identifying potential risks and compliance issues associated with their day-to-day business goals, including assisting with the incident and breach reporting process.
- Promote and develop a sound Risk Management and Compliance culture within the organization
Qualifications
- Relevant academic qualifications, e.g. a university degree
- Significant experience (5+years) in a relevant Risk Management and/or Compliance environment or similar
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team member
- Relevant analysis skills
- A sound understanding of the insurance industry
- Familiarity with the relevant Business Unit and TAL-wide procedures, policies and guidelines
- Computer literacy and a good knowledge of relevant software
- Excellent written and verbal skills in order to articulate technical issues associated to work area
