As a Technology Project Manager you will utilise your expertise in Agile methodologies and project management tools to drive seamless collaboration, mitigate risks, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality technology solutions. This will be a full time. fixed term 12 month contract based in the Sydney office (with the view to be made permanent), with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Align projects with business goals, ensuring they support overall strategy and objectives.
- Engage and manage stakeholders, building strong relationships to secure buy-in and support.
- Allocate resources strategically, maximising efficiency and ensuring project success.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, minimising potential impacts on project outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement, applying best practices and lessons learned to enhance future projects.
- Clearly convey project updates, manage sponsor interactions, facilitate meetings, and provide regular reporting.
ABOUT YOU
- Between 3-5 years of experience in a similar position overseeing multiple, concurrent FDLC/SDLC projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience with project governance tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other project management software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, budgets, and timelines while delivering high-quality solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and senior leadership.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud-based technologies (preferred but not essential).
