The Job:

As a Territory Development Representative in our NSW Sales Team, you will be enthusiastic and driven, with a mindset for success. You thrive on engaging with our distributors, customers and end users, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.

Your core duties will include:

  • Driving store cluster sales performance.
  • Executing focus sheets and developing customer relationships at the store level.
  • Promoting products through demonstrations and instructing both retail customers and end users in their use.
  • Identifying in-store incremental merchandising growth opportunities (off-location).
  • Developing stakeholder relationships and collaborating across departments.
  • Conducting distributor and end user training/demos at SBD Field Days, in-store, on end user sites, and at major trade events.
  • Planning weekly and completing daily tasks in Salesforce, ensuring the calendar is up to date and accurate.
  • Maintaining a range of clean and workable power tools, accessories, and materials for demonstrations and training.

The Person:

  • Previous customer engagement experience with a passion for selling and business development.
  • Experience engaging with end users and brand advocacy.
  • Confidence and communication skills to present product initiatives to end users.
  • Ideally, some experience in product training for internal or external parties.
  • The ability and interest to learn the specifications of the hardware industry.
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to work in an autonomous environment.
  • Most of all, a passion to work with customers and end users in the power tool/hand tool industry.
