Territory Manager – Recon – Sydney North

Responsibilities will include selling a range of medical equipment products and services by using specialised knowledge.  This role will be responsible and accountable for business growth within the defined territory by maximising sales of Smith + Nephew Reconstruction products and brands through regular contact with the target custom base.

What will you be doing?

  • Territory Management:
  • Manage assigned sales territory ensuring all company policies and protocols are followed with particular focus on the safety and compliance elements.
  • Mentor, coach and support less experienced sales and clinical support members in providing exceptional case support and training.
  • Sales Cadence & Administration:
  • Ensure the execution and reporting of sales and marketing activities in territory.
  • Ensure the appropriate execution of the allocation spreadsheet, territory management plans, consignment agreements, tenders/ pricing requests, special pricing, and customer profiles/ preferences.
  • Create accurate sales forecast and provide timely monthly reporting to the Regionals sales manager on the actual to forecast.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Participate as an active member and at all scheduled meetings (Regional/National team), leading projects and initiatives for the state and/or franchise
  • Professional Ethics & Compliance
  • Adopt a continuous improvement approach to all work processes, by utilizing sales automation to improve workflow, time management, communication and increase client contact time.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Tertiary qualifications in science or business-related discipline
  • Proven experience in orthopaedics and/or endoscopy clinical support or exceptional sales experience in related medical devices
  • Strong selling skills (+10 yrs in medical device)
  • Strong understanding of orthopaedics and/ or endoscopy therapies products and industry
