JD: • Define the overall test strategy and policies for the program/Project. • Review and approve test plans created by Test Leads. • Choose appropriate testing tools and frameworks. • Estimate test effort and define budgets. • Allocate resources (Test Leads, Testers, Tools, Environment). • Provide overall QE status, metrics, and KPIs to leadership. • Manage expectations and negotiate testing timelines or scope. • Identify risks and define mitigation strategies for test phases. • Approve contingency plans when testing timelines are impacted. • Monitor and improve test processes (e.g., shift-left testing, automation adoption). • Lead retrospectives and quality improvement initiatives. • Drive implementation of QE best practices and compliance frameworks.
