About The Role

This exciting and challenging opportunity is available for as 12-month parental leave contract.

You place the shopper and our retail customer at the heart of everything you do - with solid knowledge of retail and shopper marketing you plan and execute strategies aligned with our overarching marketing, product, and sales plans. 

Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement comprehensive co-marketing strategies to promote retail products, including advertising campaigns, promotions, and in-store displays with our retailers.

Assess Market Trends: Use Power BI and external data sources to undertake market data analysis, identify opportunities and risks, and recommend solutions

Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales teams to align marketing strategies with sales objectives and ensure cohesive market penetration. Manage the Trade Operations budget in alignment with Sales Operations.

Customer Insights: Leverage shopper insights and data to create programs that drive traffic, loyalty, conversion, and basket size

Project Management: Manage cross-functional projects expanding Retail Fixtures, NPI launch support, POS execution. Ensuring timely evaluation and sharing of results internally and with customers

You will work closely with and be supported by the Head of Trade Operations ANZ, the Marketing leadership team, Head of Key Accounts and State Sales Managers to define and execute Retail Marketing strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Development of retailer activation plans in physical retail environment including retailer promotional activity, brand asset deployment into retailer physical environment, in-store display rollout across all customers and brands

  • Align RSM across all marketing functions to meet overarching brand, position and category challenges and opportunities. 

  • Coordination and Deployment of in store experience, POS, displays, promotion and plan effective in-store commercial launch for NPI

  • Management of in-store experiences including cooking demonstration and in-store digital activation/innovation/virtual assistant

  • Day to day Marketing contact for Sales team and key accounts

  • Manage relationships with Retailer Marketing teams and plan/execute retailer Marketing initiatives

  • Marketing lead for retailer QBRs, prepare plans to share, own actionable items

  • Understand/drive path to purchase insights and ‘the last 3 feet’ to influence at purchase consumer touchpoints

  • Manage retail and shopper marketing agencies aligned to role such as Cooking demonstration agency management and in-store display agency management

  • Own best in-class retail launch events for major commercial or brand launches to our retail customers

  • Data driven – with strong analytical skills that form the basis of your decision making

  • University degree in Marketing or related area.

  • At least 5+ years Trade Marketing / Customer Marketing Experience
