Your Impact

As a Treasury Manager (based in Sydney, Australia) for an initial 6 month fixed term contract, you will work closely with our global and local Treasury, Finance and Corporate Development teams, making your mark in a number of ways:

  • Functional responsibility for treasury reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to development and refinement of best in class treasury framework, policies and other financial governance.
  • Lead and/or contribute to group treasury initiatives such as process improvements, system implementations and upgrades etc...
  • Collaborating with local and offshore stakeholders, maintaining and strengthening these relationships and building new relationships over time.

What You'll Do:

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports on treasury activities for various stakeholders, including board packs, due diligence packs, and investor roadshow packs.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of all treasury instruments, including mark-to-market valuations.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies as required.
  • Monitor compliance of all treasury activities with relevant policies, market best practices and debt facilities and escalate for management and execution as required.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to meet and exceed compliance obligations, target to build centre of excellence.
  • Modelling and analysis of cash and liquidity risks, interest rate risks and FX risks (transaction and translation)

Treasury Systems & Operations

  • Help implement and promote best practices in treasury management, operational processes, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the definition and delivery of business requirements for interfaces between the Treasury Management System (TMS) and other internal and external systems (e.g. ERP, banking platforms).
  • Manage TMS notional accounts and reconciliations, establish Middle Office (MO) controls to ensure alignment between physical bank accounts in TMS, ERP, and bank platforms for reporting obligations
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and control.

Treasury Data, Controls & Oversight

  • Hold functional responsibility for treasury data quality, ensuring all transactional data is complete, accurate, timely, and fit for decision‑making.
  • Own and maintain controls over data capture, validation, and reporting, providing independent oversight of Front Office execution and assurance over Back Office processing.

Leadership:

  • Lead the middle office accounting and reporting function maintaining the collaborative and high-performance culture in place today.
  • Balance project management responsibilities with day-to-day operations
What You'll Bring: 
  • A Bachelor's degree (or above) in business, commerce, economics, finance or similar field
  • 10+ years previous corporate treasury experience ideally in a business with an international footprint
  • Group Treasury roles within multicurrency, multi-jurisdictional organizations ideally in Data Center/Technology and/or Commercial real estate/REIT and/or project finance
  • Curiosity about Sustainability/ESG (some knowledge of ESG financing desirable)
  • A fast learner who thrives working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity and ambition
