At ING, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Operations Treasury officer to join our Transaction Processing & Controls team within Operations.
 

This role offers the chance to build valuable expertise across treasury products and processes.
 

You'll work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and gain exposure to products including foreign exchange, money markets, fixed income, loans and derivatives, all while developing the skills that can open doors to future opportunities across banking and financial markets.

What you’ll do
 

  • Action and settle Money Market, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and NCD transactions through Austraclear, SFE and RITS.

  • Process retail, commercial and wholesale SWIFT payments, ensuring timeliness and zero failed settlements.

  • Filing and sorting and distribution of confirmations and Rates Reset advice

  • Settle Term Deposits for Middle Market clients and loan/drawdown payments across Wholesale and Retail products.

  • Support process improvements, new product implementations and system enhancements to uplift operational efficiency.

  • Partner with Treasury Dealers, Reconciliations, Wholesale Banking, Mortgage teams, Middle Market, IT Treasury System Support, and external agents.

What we’re looking for
 

  • Minimum 3 year experience in Banking or Financial Services in a Treasury operations or back‑office role.

  • Understanding of reconciliations and accounting implications

  • Degree qualification in Economics, Commerce, Accounting and Finance; FINSIA accreditation desirable.

  • Working knowledge of Treasury products (Money Market, Fixed Income, Derivatives).

  • Working knowledge in payment systems such as SFE, Austraclear, SWIFT , RITS

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organisational capability.

  • Effective communicator and team player with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
