The Opportunity

This role plays a critical part in enabling our underwriting teams to perform at their best. As Underwriting Enablement Manager, you’ll work with underwriting and product teams to strengthen service delivery, embed consistent standards, and uplift operational capability.

Your new role

  • Lead underwriting enablement and service delivery to ensure accurate, timely and high‑quality outcomes aligned to agreed service levels

  • Partner closely with Heads of Underwriting & Product Leads to understand operational needs and translate them into effective enablement solutions

  • Embed strong processes, controls, reporting and service frameworks to drive consistency and manage operational risk

  • Oversee workload management, capacity planning and resource allocation to meet business demand, including during periods of peak activity

  • Develop, monitor and report on productivity, quality and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to business leaders

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across underwriting support processes, training and service delivery

About you

  • Extensive experience within insurance underwriting/underwriting operations environments

  • Strong understanding of underwriting processes, controls and quality frameworks

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior underwriting, product and distribution leaders

  • Experience leading teams and managing workflows, performance and service standards in a regulated environment

  • Analytical mindset with experience reporting on performance, quality and productivity metrics

  • A continuous improvement focus, with the confidence to challenge existing ways of working and implement practical solutions
