What you'll do

At LEAP, we're passionate about making life easier for legal professionals through smart, intuitive technology. Our software helps thousands of law firms around the world manage their practices more efficiently, so they can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional outcomes for their clients. 

As a UX Writer, you'll play a key role in shaping the brand identity our customers experience across LEAP's suite of legal software products. You'll create clear, accessible and intuitive content that helps users achieve their goals with confidence. 

Working closely with designers, product managers and engineers, you'll ensure content and design work seamlessly together to create exceptional user experiences. From simplifying complex information to testing and refining content based on user needs, you'll bring a strong user-centred mindset to everything you do. 

To make this happen, you will:

  • Create clear, concise and user-friendly content across web, desktop and mobile applications. 
  • Translate complex legal, business and technical concepts into plain language that helps users complete tasks with confidence. 
  • Partner with designers to ensure content and design work together to solve user problems. 
  • Contribute to user research, usability testing and content validation to improve clarity, and task success. 
  • Apply accessibility, readability and inclusive language best practices across all product experiences. 
  • Develop and maintain content guidelines, terminology, and voice and tone standards to ensure consistency across LEAP products. 
  • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to ensure content is accurate, compliant and aligned with business objectives. 
  • Contribute to LEAP's design system by creating reusable content patterns and standards. 
  • Champion best-practice UX writing and content design across the product development lifecycle. 
  • Support emerging AI-powered experiences by designing content that builds user trust. 

What you'll bring:

  • A relevant qualification in communications, journalism, marketing, UX writing, content design or equivalent work experience. 
  • Experience writing content for SaaS products, web, desktop or mobile applications. 
  • A strong understanding of UX design principles and user-centred design. 
  • Experience simplifying complex information into clear, actionable content. 
  • Confidence applying accessibility standards, plain language principles and inclusive writing practices. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work across multiple projects. 
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma. 
  • An interest in emerging AI experiences and designing content that supports AI-assisted workflows.
