Vice President, Head of Corporate Solutions Business Development, ANZ
Mastercard's Commercial & New Payment Flows (CNPF) business is focused on transforming how businesses move money. As organisations increasingly seek to digitise procurement, supplier payments, travel and expense management, and working capital processes, Corporate Solutions helps financial institutions, governments and enterprises modernise commercial payments through card-based and multi-rail solutions.
Corporate Solutions works across issuing, acceptance, partnerships and product to help banks and large organisations optimise business payments across the procurement and payment lifecycle, delivering greater efficiency, visibility and control.
We are seeking a Vice President, Business Development - Corporate Solutions, Australia & New Zealand to lead the next phase of growth for this strategically important business. Reporting into regional leadership, this role will own Corporate Solutions sales performance and market growth across ANZ, driving new business development, issuer partnerships, customer adoption and strategic growth initiatives. This is a highly visible leadership position for a commercially driven executive who can influence senior stakeholders, navigate complex ecosystems and lead high-performing teams in a fast-growing environment.
Role
• Lead Mastercard's Corporate Solutions business across Australia and New Zealand, delivering growth in commercial payment spend, revenue and market penetration while achieving agreed business objectives and KPIs. • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation and continuous development. • Develop and execute market growth strategies that accelerate adoption of Mastercard's B2B and Travel & Expense payment solutions across ANZ. • Build senior relationships with issuer banks, transaction banking teams and treasury organisations, supporting partners throughout the sales journey and helping identify scalable commercial payment opportunities. • Engage directly with multinational corporations, large enterprises and government organisations to understand procurement and payment challenges, articulate Mastercard's value proposition and drive adoption of Mastercard-powered solutions. • Partner closely with Product, Partnerships, Acceptance, Account Management and other cross-functional teams to bring new solutions, capabilities and commercial partnerships to market. • Develop compelling business cases, proposals, executive presentations and responses to strategic commercial opportunities and RFPs. • Build, manage and convert a robust pipeline of commercial payment opportunities, maintaining disciplined forecasting and opportunity management through Salesforce and other sales tools. • Create and grow a network of executive decision-makers across financial institutions, corporate banking, treasury and enterprise organisations to accelerate market growth and customer acquisition. • Shape Mastercard's Corporate Solutions strategy across ANZ by identifying emerging market trends, ecosystem opportunities and long-term growth priorities.
All About You
• Significant experience within commercial payments, corporate cards, transaction banking, treasury solutions or broader B2B payments environments. • Proven success leading complex business development, sales or commercial growth initiatives with measurable revenue impact. • Strong understanding of commercial payment ecosystems and the ability to originate, grow and close opportunities with corporate banking, treasury and large enterprise stakeholders. • Demonstrated success translating customer needs into commercially viable solutions, working effectively across product, technical and partner teams. • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior executives and navigate complex stakeholder environments. • Previous people leadership experience with a track record of building, developing and motivating high-performing teams. • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, take ownership and drive results in fast-paced, high-growth environments. • Strong commercial judgement, pipeline management discipline and the ability to execute against ambitious growth targets. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and articulate compelling business value. • Passion for innovation and curiosity to challenge conventional approaches in commercial payments.
