About the role
We're looking for a fast, prolific video editor with a sharp eye for what works on paid social.
You'll cut content that lives and dies on its ability to convert - across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and everywhere else our customers spend their time. The work moves quickly, the volume is high, and we hold a strong bar on craft.
You'll sit inside an experienced in-house creative team, reporting to the Senior Producer and working closely with our Associate Creative Director (Art), Senior Copywriter, Motion Designer, and Performance team. You'll have access to a full in-house studio we shoot in most weeks, with most of your time on the timeline and regular days on set. There's a quiet studio space for when you need to lock in, but you won't be tucked away from the team.
This isn't a pure edit role. You'll be shooting regularly - on studio days, on smaller solo jobs, and whenever a moment's worth capturing. If you don't have a creative eye behind the camera, or shooting isn't something you can physically do, this role won't be the right fit.
You're tool-agnostic - you use what gets the job done. DaVinci, CapCut, or whatever else is in your kit. You're online, plugged into what's working on social right now, and your taste is current. You know when to polish and when to ship.
What You'll Be Doing
- Editing for performance. Owning post end to end - cut, sound, colour, captions, motion, exports - across high-volume paid social, organic, and brand work. You know the rules of best practice on each platform, and you've got the brains and the craft to execute them at speed.
- Shooting alongside the team. Supporting our in-house production days, capturing footage with the creative team, and running smaller solo shoots when the brief calls for it. You're not a DOP - but you'll get to learn from some of the best in the country on bigger shoot days.
- BTS and social shooter. You see the value in a quick lo-fi idea shot fast. When inspiration hits, you point first and ask questions later - the behind-the-scenes beat, the genuine reaction, the unexpected angle that ends up doing numbers.
- Cutting native to platform. What works as a TVC won't work on Reels, and what works on Reels won't work on TikTok. You shoot and edit with the channel in mind from the first frame.
- Working with the data. You partner with the Performance and Social teams to understand what's converting, what's stalling, and why. You iterate on what's working and bring an informed point of view to the next round of work.
- Communicating clearly. You give status without being chased. You flag blockers early. You move fast, and you make it easy for the people around you to move fast too.
- Bringing ideas, not just execution. You contribute creative thinking to briefs, suggest references, push back constructively, and improve the work through the lens of what actually performs.
About you (Who you are)
- 3-5 years editing at pace, in-house, agency, or freelance, with a reel that shows range, output, and a clear feel for performance-driven content.
- Stack-agnostic and outcome-focused. You use what the job needs - one tool, three tools, whatever - and don't evangelise software.
- Performance-literate. You understand hooks, pacing, and retention. You read your edits as ad units as much as creative pieces, and you care that they work.
- Keen to learn. You'll be working alongside some of the best performance marketers in Australia, and you want to soak it up. You ask good questions, take feedback well, and get sharper every month.
- Platform-native. You instinctively know how content should feel on each surface, and you can hold the line on craft while moving at social speed.
- Strong shooting fundamentals. Composition, light, sound, and a calm hand on a smaller set. You know what's worth shooting and what isn't.
- Fast, organised, and a clear communicator. You ship without being prompted and never let work go quiet.
- Customer intuition. You understand who Juniper's customers are and what resonates with them. You can spot the moments and angles that will land.
- Empathetic on set. Juniper operates in a sensitive category. You create a comfortable environment for talent, particularly when working on content related to women's health.
- Commercially minded. You care that your work performs. Feedback from the data matters as much to you as feedback from the creative team.
- Resilient and resourceful. You thrive in high-volume environments and don't need perfect conditions to deliver great work.
- Passionate about the mission. You want to make work that genuinely supports women through their health journeys.
- What’s next – Our goal for the next three years is to support 1 million patients globally to live better for longer. We’re launching into new conditions, demographics, and geographies as we build a truly preventive healthcare ecosystem.
- Build something world-changing – We’re on the path to becoming the world’s largest international digital healthcare company. It’s fast-paced, challenging, and deeply rewarding.
- Make real impact – You’ll deliver work that directly shapes patient outcomes and scales evidence-based care across markets.
- Accelerate your growth – You’ll have high ownership, continuous feedback, and dedicated development support.
- Join a motivated team – Collaborate with talented peers to solve complex clinical and operational problems at scale.
- Grow with us globally – Learn from leaders across Australia, the UK, Germany, and Japan, collaborate with teams in the Philippines and South Africa, and explore new markets or travel internationally. We’ve been recognised on Hatch’s Hotlist as one of Australia’s top employers.
- Shape your career – Access learning budgets, conferences, certifications, peer shadowing, and a strong knowledge-sharing culture.
- Be an owner – Equity for everyone means you share in the success you help create.
- Work where well-being matters – Enjoy catered wellness talks, exercise classes, Whoop membership, free barista coffees, funded social clubs, and quarterly rooftop parties.
- Innovate with purpose – Use state-of-the-art tools and contribute to bold, impactful solutions in healthcare.
- Support at every stage – Benefit from generous parental and miscarriage leave, health and professional development leave, personal days, and access to our Employee Assistance Program.
