Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a VM & Commercial Lead you are the technical specialist ensuring that all commercial actions are optimized within the overall Brand direction and Sales market VM priorities, always securing an elevated, competitive and convenient customer experience within physical stores.

You are responsible for;

  • Acting as operational bridge to all commercial functions in Sales Market, aligning VM execution based on the Commercial Plan and activities through regular operational syncs.
  • Communicate the VM technical perspective in weekly commercial planning meetings.
  • Contribute to commercial decision-making and ensure VM priorities are aligned and integrated into overall market plans and within the VM global direction.
  • Provide and share solutions concerning workload, resources and planning to support execution and drive salesmanship in stores.
  • Support and communicate with SM, Area and Store teams on weekly commercial priorities, upcoming activity, commercial packages and seasonal focuses and in-store communication material.
  • Communicate any store activation plan updates in close collaboration with other commercial functions for Areas and Store teams for them to adapt if needed.
  • Steer and educate VM teams to be solution-oriented about how to optimize the visual and product presentation information based on actual stock availability and store conditions staying within the Brand direction.
  • Collaborate with Material leads and other functions for in–store material in line with Commercial plan.
  • Secure close collaboration with SM VM teams and store visit with HOVM to follow-up on VM standards level implementation in store and identify potential and provide support (e.g., presentation strategies, implementation of guidelines, activation plans, product presentation priorities).
  • In line with SM VM Agenda and priorities, provide teams with routines, best practice and upskilling to secure visual and commercial excellence outcome in Sales Market.
  • In line with SM VM Agenda and priorities, they share latest visual standards, seasonal and product presentation principles, customer groups updates and overall display and material with SM, Areas & store teams.
  • Proactively seek, give, and receive feedback from Sales Markets and Global VM teams to continuously improve visual routines, standards, and commercial alignment.

 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

As a VM & Commercial Lead, you work closely with Commercial, Visual Merchandising, Area, and Store teams, acting as the key link between functions to align VM priorities with commercial plans. The role also partners with Sales Market leadership, HOVM, and Material Leads to ensure consistent execution, drive sales, and deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Fashion ambassadors; up to date with current trends
  • Expert level Visual Merchandising knowledge and Commercial competence
  • Commercial know-how, visual routines, workload and planning understanding, and customer experience knowledge
  • Strong prioritization, planning, and preparation skills
  • Solid analytical ability (e.g., know how to act on selling equation, weekly sales report and correlation between commercial KPIs & product presentation method based on different commercial activities etc.)
  • Good knowledge about physical store identity, updated on latest visual strategies and commercial goals linked to assortment and customer groups
  • Proved track record in driving commercial impact and developing visual teams
  • Experienced in Senior VM roles, ideally 3+ years
