As we continue to expand our presence across the Pacific, we are creating a brand-new leadership role: VP of Operations – Pacific.

Reporting to the COO, APAC, the Vice President of Operations, Pacific will lead and support Ennismore's growing portfolio across the Pacific region. The role currently oversees 5 operating hotels, with 2 additional openings planned for 2027.

Based in the Pacific region, this position requires frequent travel across Australia, New Zealand and other Pacific markets. As Ennismore continues its growth, we are looking for a highly operational leader who enjoys being on property, working alongside General Managers and hotel teams, while representing Ennismore with owners, brands and key stakeholders.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams, driving commercial success and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

 

Job Description

What you'll do…

  • Provide operational leadership, coaching and support to General Managers and hotel leadership teams, ensuring alignment with Ennismore's strategy, culture and brand standards.
  • Spend significant time in hotels, partnering directly with operational teams to improve guest experience, commercial performance and operational execution.
  • Hold General Managers accountable for delivering financial, operational, people and guest experience objectives through regular business reviews and performance management.
  • Lead the annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting and Latest Estimate (LE) processes across the portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability and operational efficiencies while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.
  • Work closely with Brand, Commercial, Revenue, Marketing, Food & Beverage and People & Culture teams to drive performance across the region.

  • Lead hotel openings, transitions and major operational projects, ensuring smooth execution and rapid stabilization.
  • Build trusted relationships with hotel owners, acting as Ennismore's senior operational representative and providing clear, insightful reporting and strategic guidance.
  • Identify operational risks and growth opportunities while contributing to the Pacific expansion strategy.

Qualifications

What we're looking for…

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Regional Director of Operations, Area General Manager or Cluster General Manager within lifestyle or premium hospitality – strong F&B background a plus
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple hotels and driving commercial, financial and operational performance.
  • A visible, hands-on leader who enjoys spending time in hotels, coaching teams and solving problems on the ground.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility with owners, General Managers and corporate teams.
  • comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business where agility, creativity and ownership are valued.
  • Passion for lifestyle hospitality and creating outstanding guest experiences.
  • Applicants must already hold valid work rights/work authorization for the country in which the role is based. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
