WHS Advisor

Job Description Summary

As the WHS Advisor, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the safety and sustainability of our operations. You’ll lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS+Q systems across a diverse property portfolio.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage EHS compliance and risk mitigation across the account

  • Implement and maintain tailored EHS+Q management systems

  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections

  • Oversee essential safety measures and ensure legislative compliance

  • Deliver training and awareness programs for staff and stakeholders

  • Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented

  • Monitor and report on EHS performance using KPIs

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and maintain certifications

  • Promote a strong safety culture through mentoring and coaching

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in EHS roles, ideally in property, FM, or construction

  • Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, systems, and risk frameworks

  • Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills

  • A collaborative approach to working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience in audits, compliance, and incident investigations

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHS software systems

  • ICAM and Lead Auditor qualifications (preferred)
