A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Wireless Engineering Specialist reporting to Senior Manager FW Specialist, Data and Analytics

A bit about your role

The Wireless Engineering Specialist sits within the Wireless Specialist team and plays a critical role in advancing network capacity, performance, and optimisation capabilities. This role is responsible for developing and enhancing end-to-end capacity and performance processes, performing deep technical network analysis, and establishing scalable frameworks that enable consistent, data-driven optimisation across the network. Leveraging strong wireless engineering expertise, the role extracts actionable insights from network counters, KPIs, and large datasets, while also driving the development of tools to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.

In addition, the team plays a strategic role in the design, creation, and ongoing evolution of visualisation dashboards for both internal and external stakeholders. A bit about you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong combination of technical depth, analytical capability, and practical industry experience:

Strong ability to manage end‑to‑end network data pipelines and lifecycles — including collection, structuring, analysis, and visualisation of large, complex datasets.

Strong hands-on experience in data analytics, ETL, and automation using SQL, Python, and enterprise-scale databases/big data platforms. Experience working with OSS platforms and telecommunications data is preferred but not essential.

Proven ability to develop scalable analytical solutions, automate processes, and work within Linux-based environments. Experience with web development technologies is advantageous.

Hands-on experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, with the ability to transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
