We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager/Sales Specialist to drive market penetration and secure new partnerships for Equifax’s innovative iCIRT rating portfolio across Australia.

Operating within our high-growth New Solutions business unit, this individual contributor role is perfect for an ambitious business development professional ready to own their pipeline and smash commercial revenue targets.

What you'll do

  • Pipeline Generation: Proactively source, qualify, and close high-yielding business development opportunities to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

  • Market Strategy Execution: Develop and execute localised territory and account plans heavily focused on new client acquisition.

  • Ecosystem Collaboration: Partner closely with established Account Managers and Inside Sales teams to cross-sell and expand market reach.

  • Internal Enablement: Act as the premier subject matter expert for the portfolio, mentoring and upskilling sales teams to identify qualified leads.

  • Commercial Management: Own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle, including drafting proposals, letters of engagement (LOEs), RFTs, and quotes.

  • Client Advocacy: Serve as the primary specialist contact for clients, ensuring smooth onboarding and escalating delivery or implementation issues.

  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive movements, changing buyer behaviors, and industry trends to feed critical product requirements to Product Development.

  • Sales Hygiene: Maintain absolute data accuracy within Salesforce CRM to provide reliable pipeline reporting and monthly/quarterly forecasting.

  • C-Suite Engagement: Pitch, negotiate, and confidently secure buy-in for solutions from C-Suite Executives, Directors, and key industry decision-makers.

What experience you need

  • 5+ years of successful B2B corporate sales experience, specifically in individual contributor "hunt-and-close" business development roles.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales targets, quotas, and driving Net New Revenue (NNR) growth.

  • Demonstrated experience managing the complete end-to-end commercial process, including drafting proposals, commercial quotes, or contracts.

  • Experience utilizing Salesforce CRM (or equivalent enterprise CRM) for accurate sales pipeline tracking, hygiene, and forecasting.

  • Proven experience pitching complex, high-value corporate solutions to C-Suite Executives and senior business decision-makers.

What could set you apart

  • Prior sales experience, active networks, or industry knowledge within the Construction, Property Development, or Financial Services sectors.

  • Familiarity or direct experience selling independent rating frameworks, risk compliance tools, or technical assessment solutions.

  • Experience collaborating effectively within a complex matrix corporate organisation across different business divisions.
