Why this is an exciting opportunity

Are you curious about risk, governance and compliance and looking for an opportunity to build your career in a growing and highly visible team?
We're looking for an Advice Governance Analyst to join our Advice Governance team. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their risk career, or an employee looking to transition into governance, compliance or operational risk from another area of the business. You'll work closely with experienced leaders and stakeholders across HUB24, gaining exposure to both licensee and adviser governance, risk management, regulatory obligations and business operations.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Head of Adviser Governance, you'll support a range of governance, risk and oversight activities relating to the growing demand from licensees and advisers to use the HUB24 platform. You'll help collect and analyse data, prepare reports and insights, engage with stakeholders and contribute to initiatives that strengthen HUB24's governance framework and oversight obligations from initial onboarding through ongoing monitoring.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to HUB24’s best practice in operational risk management while building relationships across multiple areas of the business.

What you'll be doing
  • Supporting the collection, analysis and maintenance of governance, risk and compliance data.

  • Preparing reports, dashboards and insights to support decision-making.

  • Working with stakeholders across the business to gather information and manage follow-up activities.

  • Assisting with onboarding, monitoring and due diligence processes.

  • Supporting governance reporting and committee activities.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements and data quality uplift activities.

  • Helping identify, assess and manage operational risk matters across the advice governance function.

What you bring

You don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.

Experience & Skills

You do not need extensive risk or compliance experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with data and has a genuine interest in building a career in governance, risk or compliance.

You might come from Operations, Client Services, Adviser Support, Service Delivery, Administration, or a customer-facing role in another area of HUB24 where you've developed strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

To be successful, you'll bring strong attention to detail, a curious mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational skills, confidence using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and a willingness to learn and partner with internal teams to deliver aligned governance and risk outcomes.

Why apply?

Whilst previous exposure to licensee and adviser business models would be highly regarded, this role offers a genuine entry point into risk, governance and compliance. It provide exposure to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders, mentoring and development from experienced governance professionals to develop a career pathway within the broader HUB24 business

If you're excited by the challenge and want to build a long-term career in risk and governance, we'd love to hear from you.
