THE ROLE
As our AI Enablement Lead, you’ll drive the rollout and adoption of AI-powered tools and processes across Shippit. Sitting within our Business Operations team and working closely with our Data & Technology function, you’ll lead the enablement, solution design, and change management that helps our teams use AI to improve productivity, decision-making, and outcomes.
We’re looking for someone who brings both a strategic view and a hands-on mindset to experiment, learn, and enable others for a 12 month fixed/maximum term contract.
DAY TO DAY
- Enable and lead the delivery and execution of Shippit’s AI enablement roadmap, starting with Customer Support and scaling across teams
- Identify, evaluate, and roll out AI tools and capabilities that enhance productivity, efficiency, and experience
- Partner cross-functionally with Data, Technology, Product, and frontline teams to ensure the right data, systems, and workflows are in place
- Solution and test new AI use cases, from automation to summarisation to insight generation
- Deliver enablement programs to drive adoption and confidence in the use of approved AI tools
- Champion safe and effective AI use, staying close to internal governance and evolving best practice
- Establish feedback loops and monitor adoption and performance, solicit and action on feedback, and continuously improve what we roll out
WHAT YOU BRING
- You’ve held an enablement, program delivery, or change management role—bonus points if it was in tech, ops, or systems
- You have commercial acumen and can map operational and system processes to business outcomes.
- You have a strong understanding of technology, machine learning or using AI capabilities to support different teams and use cases.
- You have organisational change management experience and have demonstrated that in enabling significant team or organisational change.
- You’re a natural connector—comfortable working across functions and bringing people along for the journey
- You’re equally confident solutioning in a room of power users as you are translating benefits to non-technical teams
- You thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, and know how to balance experimentation with risk
- You’re passionate about what’s possible with AI—and want to make it real
