The Program is designed to take place in a specific team within our Legal department. You can dive in below for more insights into the available positions within the department. We’ll ask you about your preferred area for your graduate program during the course of your application; however, we may recommend you for a different department.

The Legal Graduate APAC will work within the Legal Regions APAC Team (alongside the Legal Counsel APAC and Area Legal and Regulatory Assistant) in ensuring the efficient and effective management of legal risks associated with the Red Bull businesses in Asia Pacific, in accordance with global guidelines, regional business priorities and legal guidelines (including the Service Level Guidelines), and the Red Bull brand values. 

This role will bring additional capability to the APAC Legal team, supporting the delivery of proactive legal initiatives such as training, legal technology, and template development. It also offers valuable early-career in-house legal experience across multiple jurisdictions, while making a meaningful contribution to legal operations across APAC and local markets.

Job Description

LEGAL SUPPORT AND OPERATIONS

  • Drafting and reviewing of legal documents (e.g. amendment and extension letters, simple agreements, terms and conditions) in support of the business activities of the APAC markets.
  • Legal research tasks looking at laws across various jurisdictions on particular topics as well as monitoring upcoming changes in legislation across the APAC markets.
  • Develop legal service initiatives that increase the effectiveness of delivery of legal services to the business, including ongoing review and development of template agreements and other self-service initiatives for the business to access legal services.
  • Support in the development, improvement and roll out of APAC Legal training and guidelines to encourage, enable and empower business colleagues with legal knowledge relevant to their role.

EXPOSURE ACROSS THE BUSINESS

Marketing & Brand

  • Gain exposure to the commercial priorities behind events, athletes, sponsorships, and partnerships.
  • Build an understanding of how legal considerations support marketing and brand activity.

Red Bull Media Network

  • Learn how media, production, and content-related legal considerations are managed in practice.
  • Build an understanding of areas such as media rights, talent, music, and location agreements.

Procurement & Operations

  • Understanding how Red Bull sources, produces, and distributes its products provides insight into potential legal risks related to contracts, environmental compliance, and anti-slavery laws.
  • Gain an understanding of legal risks related to procurement, compliance, and operations.

Sales

  • Gain exposure to how customer negotiations and commercial agreements are developed and executed within the sales function.
  • Develop an understanding of how sales activity is planned, measured, and translated into legal agreements.
  • Build awareness of legal considerations relevant to the sales team, including competition law, pricing, and key customer agreements.

Qualifications

You’re a recent law graduate, or you’ll complete a law degree at Bachelor level or above by January 2027. You have completed, or are about to commence, Practical Legal Training and will be available to work full-time from January 2027.

Prior experience in the legal profession, such as paralegal or legal assistant work, will be viewed favourably.

An interest in sports, media, contract, or entertainment law through study or prior experience is advantageous.

Flexible, motivated, and eager to learn within a busy, broad, multi-jurisdictional in-house legal team.

You’re a team player, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit with a "go-getter" attitude when it comes to tackling important projects or taking on new challenges.

Fluency in English is required for our Graduate Program in Australia, along with long-term working rights (permanent residency or AU/NZ citizenship).
