This role is pivotal in launching upcoming 2026 cloud migrations for Digital ID and IDM, ensuring our solutions remain at the forefront of identity management and protection.

What you’ll do

  • Directly manage and mentor a cross-functional team of approximately six engineers, fostering growth for both junior and senior talent.

  • Take hands-on ownership of end-to-end production support, including the implementation of runbooks and technical documentation.

  • Collaborate with Architects and SRE leads to define and maintain SLA, SLO, and SLIs that meet global engineering standards.

  • Drive technical decision-making regarding product features, refactoring work, and End-of-Support-Life (EOSL) strategies.

  • Ensure rigorous compliance with secure software development guidelines and maintain DevSec, QE, and FinOps KPIs.

  • Oversee the deployment and release of software utilizing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Helm Charts, and Terraform.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning and Retrospectives, to ensure consistent delivery cycles.

  • Act as a key technical liaison for internal and external stakeholders, simplifying complex architectural problems for business partners.

What experience you need

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on Java and Spring Boot architectures.

  • Proven experience managing a small technical team (approx. 6 people) within a production support environment.

  • Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically Dataflow, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.

  • Direct experience with monitoring and logging tools such as PagerDuty, ChaosSearch, and Splunk.

  • Solid understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code concepts using Terraform and Kubernetes orchestration.

  • Experience leading Agile engineering teams and managing cross-functional project deliverables.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage full-lifecycle cloud migrations and distributed system deployments.

What could set you apart

  • Current Cloud Certification (Professional Cloud Architect or Developer).

  • Prior domain expertise in Fraud and Identity Management systems.

  • Advanced knowledge of Big Data processing solutions using Apache Beam or Composer/Airflow.

  • Strong background in Technical Debt reduction strategies within legacy-to-cloud transitions.
