The Assistant Accountant, ANZ is responsible for managing full Account Receivable functions (i.e., receipting, AR Aging and Credit review, DSO, etc.), monthly General Ledger (including journal preparation and month end reporting), assisting on financial audit and involves in SAP (S4HANA) implementation or any other projects.

Location: This position will be located onsite in Macquarie Park, NSW, Australia.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

Manages the internal and external monthly, quarterly and annual reporting for Cepheid Holdings Pty Ltd, inclusive of

  • Internal financial reporting including internal result of operations, balance sheet and any applicable analysis reporting.
  • Complete monthly reconciliations including bank reconciliations.
  • Identifies, recommends, and actively participates in business improvement opportunities.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related work experience
  • Working towards CPA/CA qualifications.
  • SAP or comparable ERP system experience is advantageous and PC Skills especially for Excel.
  • Knowledge and experience of US GAAP, Local AUS GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, with strong ability to work independently and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
