Bookkeeper

At RSM Australia, we are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our expanding Albury office. You’ll be part of a close-knit team of professionals, growing in line with RSM’s national strategy and ongoing commitment to regional excellence.

What you’ll do:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
- Support the preparation of BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax, and other compliance obligations
- Reconcile bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Respond to bookkeeping queries and liaise with clients to resolve issues
- Assist with managing client relationships and ongoing communications
- Apply your knowledge of current accounting practices and industry trends
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance service delivery
About you:
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Qualifications in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficiency in Xero and MYOB AccountRight
- Payroll processing experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (Dr/Cr, P&L, Balance Sheet)
- Working knowledge of GST
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent client service and communication abilities
- A self-motivated, independent approach
